Starbase Stairtopia is a tongue-and-cheek space station alien getaway simulator. The aliens have been at war in the region, and the Starbase Stairtopia is going to be the place to stop the wars and bring peace to the system. Where you are in charge on meeting the specific needs of the Alien species as well, make sure the starbase is running smoothly.

Starbase Stairtopia has you in charge of three layers of Stairtopia. We can extend the three layers to eight rooms. The first floor is where we meet the basic needs of the aliens, places to sleep, a shower, doctors, as well as the power supplies and security. The next floor is the pleasure area where the aliens get to relax and have fun. The top deck will produce resources to keep the starbase ticking on.

As you build up your Starbase Stairtopia and unlock more facilities, you will need workers. Luckily for use the guest on the ship dont seem to mind to work for you for a price. There are only two stats that you need to consider are dedication and skill. The higher the number, the better they are at the job. However, there is nothing to suggest that anything works better, and everyone will fairly rapidly.

Starbase Stairtopia overall campaign is only 10 missions long and will see you doing the same thing over and over it gets somewhat repetitive after a while. It is a shame as there could be so much better with more variety. Instead, you get bombs that will appear that need you to pick up and bin them; it seemed to happen a lot. As well as being raided where you use giant mech to fight off invaders. It is a fair attempt to mix things up, but it gets more of a chore than entertainment.

Overall Starbase Stairtopia is a decent enough simulator game with some great comedy moments from the AI but it lacks in depth and entertainment as other simulators out there.

For the price I would have to say wait for a good sale.
