Well, here we have something a little different and I have to say strangely enjoyable. Slay Uncool Monsters is a mathematical educational game that’s masquerading as a dungeon Crawler.

Now before you decide to bite my head off, let me tell you it is so addictive. It is so simple and fun I couldn’t help but get addicted to it.

The game its self is nothing that will drive you crazy or will need you to be the next Carl Friedrich Gauss to complete. You decide how you want to play by selecting if you want addition, subtraction, multiplication or division and any mix of these. And a Hero. Then off you go to do your quest, to Slay these Uncool Monsters with Math.

All the battles will require an answer to a question with all the factors being under 10. It is more a case of how well you can recall basic math over anything else.

There is one wee flaw I could like to address that is the lack of touch screen integration. The game would benefit a ton if they implemented this. As the cursor feel sluggish.

Slay Uncool Monsters – S.U.M is a simple math train tool that would be great for people of all ages. Slay Uncool Monsters feels more aimed at kids in high school, but I really enjoyed it.

Form the price, it could be worth it if you have kids who need bit more help or if you want to scrape off the math rust.
