Ahh my random pick is here, and this time we have something a little different.
In Lawn Mowing Simulator, you start your own lawn mowing business, with little old you with hopes to grow it into something much more. With real life ride-on mowers, this is your time to grow your empire of grass.
Taking Your Time
As you begin your humble business, you will have access to a ride on and a strimmer. And it is basically your job to cut the grass as neat and quick as you can without causing any damage to the garden. On the surface it was straightforward, but it turns out there is slightly a bit more to it.
On the job you have two parts to complete, the first part is to pick up objects that are not meant to be left in the garden. For example, toys, newspapers and so on. Doing this is optional, however, it nets you a bonus cash and reputation and more importantly; it does not damage the mower. Reputation allows access to bigger and more lucrative jobs and better mowers.
As you cut the grass, you will need to cut the grass to different heights the customer wants. While not damaging the flowers, grass and, of course, the mower. As there will be fines for damages. In order to complete the job, you need to cut over 98% of the grass. With both the ride on and strimmer.
I have to say even though the premise of driving around a massive garden at 3mph and trying not to over throttle the 2-stroke engine, there is so much to enjoy. Upgrading to bigger and better mowers, and simmers and loads of locations. And hire staff to do more jobs.
There is one problem I noticed that is to do with the controls, if you Invert both axis (that I wanted to do) only the Y axis inverts the X rests. But just change X and it’s fine. The other possible ‘problem’ is Lawn Mower Simulator is it will not be for everyone, there is not much action happening. It’s like one massive slow moving puzzle game.
Overall, I was surprised how entertaining Lawn Mowing Simulator is. There is plenty to do and real licenced mowers for all enthusiasts to enjoy. The game play is very relaxing for the most part.
Lawn Mowing Simulator will not be for everyone, but if you like it, there are tons to entrain you.
