Ghostrunner will not win any awards for the story. It’s basically an overlord needs to be over thrown and you need to get revenge. You are the cyborg-ninja to do it. If you know any Cyberpunk stories, then nothing new will hit you here.

Ghostrunner is not a game you will want to play for the story. it’s all about the gameplay

To say Ghostrunner is hard would be an understatement. This is a game of trail and error, with more error than success. If you play this one you will need to make sure there is nothing within reach, you can smash and maybe take up meditation to keep calm. Some parts of the game will take 100 plus tries to get it right (Not an overstatement).

Ghostrunner is a hardcore parkour game where you will have multiple abilities to run, jump, and slash your way through multiple enemies. Everyone has one hit point so each attack each action has to be pin point or it will be a rest. Luckily there are plenty of check points so it not a full-blown start of a level.

Even with the 100’s of deaths I endured and the times I quit playing so I could calm down, I kept going back and back. After the first few levels I started to notice that with each death I was learning a better way to do a jump or better timings for slides and so on. Each kill felt like an achievement. Getting to the end was a feat but one worthy of over coming. It was loads of fun I got hooked.

The graphics in Ghostrunner are amazing the world looks stunning, everything just screams Cyberpunk dystopian future. Well, that is when you have a chance to see it at least. Most of the game will have you jumping about and slashing and seeing visceral fluids of your enemies flying everywhere. With that said the movements all fluid and meld together to eye candy that will make Mirrors Edge cry with envy. Not to mention you feel like a total bad ass.

Overall, Ghostrunner will test the limits of your will and your drive for successes. This is one hard game, but if you like butter smooth running, jumping slashing, killing action, you will love this.

Ghostrunner will not be for everyone but for the players who want a real challenge this is a must buy.
