One of my favourite childhood books where and still are Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass. So when Catie in Meowmeowland press email was sent to me, and it had a cat version of Alice in Wonderland with cats, I was sold. Is it worth playing through or should it stay down the cat hole?
Catie in Meowmeowland sort of follows Alice’s adventures, except with cats. It is totally bonkers. The story is told by the actions taken and image bubbles that pop up on the screen.
Catie in Meowmeowland is a point and click adventure game. That sees Catie following the White cat through a crazy interactive world. That would be at home in a Monty Python intro. Everything is weird, wacky and strangely entertaining.
Catie needs to work her way through twenty different screens to get to the end of this wonderful adventure. Where she will meet strange and downright weird friends and foot lifts?
There is not much to say on the gameplay as it is all point and click and I do not want to spoil the game.
Nothing majorly wrong with the game I found, but there were a couple of instances of double assets being on screen. One would be interacting with the puzzle while the over would move parallel but in the air.
Overall Catie in Meowmeowland is a weird, wacky adventure through a Monty Python and Alice in Wonderland inspired world. Where everything is slightly off in this hand designed world.
Catie in Meowmeowland is definitely worth a lay through for sure.
