Another Dawn is a survival action game that is not worth your time in any way, shape or form.
You are on an island holiday and your family has been kidnapped, you have to find them. However, the start of the game has you waking up on a boat with a satellite phone going off and someone screaming down it. This only gets worse from here.
The gameplay is buggy clunky, poorly optimised and just dire. We played Another Dawn from a first person perspective where the player characters’ arms look like disembodied twigs. There is button lag from most inputs, sounds do not sync with movements. Swinging a pipe, for instance, the sounds play once the poorly animated swipe is half way though.
Let us not forget about the dire bugs that make the game next to impossible to play at times from janky loads and frame rate drops. To top it all off the enemy AI is also terrible. Nothing really works, I am sorry to say.
All is not lost on a whole the world looks decent enough and the fish are nice.
I do not think I have ever played a game this poorly made of the PS4 to be honest. This should never have been let on the PSN like this.
